Mariya was very thorough considering my house was very cluttered. We managed to get a lot done together! My only concern and misunderstanding was about the time of arrival. My window was 12 to 5pm but it was stated on a message it was to be at 12 noon but arrived at 3pm with no message. There wasn't a way of fine tuning the time on the app. I was constantly looking & waiting for my messages to be responded to! The reason for this is to emphasis that communication is the key thing! On the northern edge of Central London, Angel, in the borough of Islington, remains one of London’s foremost areas. Incorporating both the EC1 and N1 postcodes, Angel is renowned for its great high street, which is home to popular retail spaces as well as being a lively evening spot with bars and restaurants aplenty. Local vendors run a variety of great stalls at Chapel Market throughout the week too, with Exmouth Market providing another option for foodies willing to take a short walk.

On the Bank branch of the Northern Line, it only ever takes a matter of minutes to get into the heart of the capital from Angel. Perhaps best to stand on the right when ascending from the northern line at Angel though, as it’s actually home to the longest escalator of any London tube station!

Although many of Angel’s tall townhouses have now been converted into flats for their residents, plenty of gorgeous Georgian and Victorian houses remain, often set in squares around communal garden spaces.
