Situated within the West London borough of Ealing, Hanwell is a strikingly pretty town with open, green spaces and beautiful canal walks. The town centre is marked by the recognisable Hanwell Clock Tower, built to celebrate the coronation of George VI and the Queen Mother. It’s also true that Charlie Chaplin was educated briefly in Hanwell, at the close of the 19th Century.
